Oh goodness it's been forever since I've last written in this journal. So, nothing much has been going down lately. I've been sleep deprived as usual, Kitty and I have made it to a year and, 8 or 9 months I believe (alright so I'm math defficient, so sue me... >.< ) Anyways, I've been trying to hang out with the girls more lately cuz it seems like we've been drifting apart lately.

OMG Tree came back from the Marines. I missed him. He's so damn thin now it's scary. lol. I'm glad he's back. Lunita is coming back to the states too, yay!

Hmm, I've been itching to write a story lately but I'm stuck. Yes, that nasty writer's block is trying to seep it's way into my writing luster just when I've reached a very important fork in my writing Irigasa Island world.

The question stands, should I keep on with the original story. I've been working on this so called 'novel' for almost five years and I've yet to finish any of the nine drafts I've started on. I know how the story begins (for time and time again I've written it) and I know how it ends (or at least have a very possible ending senerio) but I've yet to find the middle ground where point A meets point B. It's driving me insaine. I'm also working on Angeline's story, it's a romance novel. I'm stuck on that one too.

I want to come up with something new, something different, not just the same old girl falls in love with guy who's got the gazillion underlying problems with his life but shows none of them to the world. I love that genre but I want to go beyond the stereotype.

For those who don't know, Irigasa Island has been, so far, the pride and joy of my writing since winter break of 8th grade. It started out as sort of of a rip off to the Inuyasha fourth movie, yet, througout the years it's evolved into the story it is today or at least the first few chapters.

Either way, I'll try to get some more writing done. Yet I am just a beginner and I have many more years to go before I'll learn to write well enough. Till then, I'll try to finally finish at least one draft and work my way from there. I started it as one book, but so far it might just grow into a trilogy. Let's see how it goes. Maybe I'll be one of those luckly authors who's books will be loved by many and maybe someday placed in literature books around the world. It's a big dream but it's worth going for.
